Olia Fogel, Senior Transactional Specialist
Ms. Fogel specializes in contract law with a focus on representing commercial real estate lenders, borrowers, and commercial mortgage loan servicers in connection with matters ranging from “plain vanilla” deals to structured-finance transactions.
In over 7 years of service as internal counsel to public and private entities in the Ukraine, Sweden, and, most recently, in the United States, Olia has experienced a wide range of business transactions. Handling matters relating to topics as esoteric as international treaties, as technical as intellectual property and tax, and as common as employment and confidentiality agreements, Olia has learned to take a practical approach.
At LareDiaz, whether acting as outside general counsel to clients who would rather outsource that role or who require overflow assistance, or as transactional counsel working on deals, Olia draws upon her business side experience to add value, with a dedication to accomplishing our clients’ business goals as time and cost efficiently as possible.
Ms. Fogel was awarded a Masters in International Law in June 2009 from the Kyiv Institute of International Relations, Kyiv, Ukraine; an LL.M. in European Law in May 2011 from Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden; and an LL.M. in US Law in May 2014 from Temple University, Beasley School of Law.
In addition to English, Olia speaks Russian, Ukrainian, and is a certified translator of Spanish.
