MaryEllen A. Daley, Practice Manager and Senior Paralegal
MaryEllen A. Daley is the practice manager and senior paralegal for Lare Diaz. As practice manager, Ms. Daley handles the day to day operations of the firm. Ms. Daley forms entities for borrowers, lenders and joint venture partners. She prepares and maintains entity level books and records and ensures fees are timely paid and the entity remains in good standing. Ms. Daley works directly with attorneys assisting with due diligence, deal documentation, title review and closings. Ms. Daley also has worked closely with general counsel in the administration of various Industry and Trade Association accounts.
In addition, Ms. Daley served as member of the Board of Directors for The Legal Clinic for the Disabled (“LCD”) for several years. The LCD is a non-profit organization that provides free legal services and assistance to low-income people with physical disabilities. Ms. Daley continues to support the LCD by working with attorneys and other legal service providers throughout the region. She also co-chairs the LCD Fund Raising Committee.
Prior to joining Lare Diaz, Ms. Daley worked for many years at a well-respected Philadelphia law firm, working with the Transactional Group, focusing primarily on commercial real estate and finance. Ms. Daley also has an extensive litigation background handling catastrophic injury and complex mass tort cases.
